We facilitate work at height and vertical rope rescue training accredited by Rescue 3 International.
After training with Rescue 3 for many years in both water and rope based disciplines, and seeing the benefit and success of the training system, Section20 chose to bring Rescue 3 International’s rope rescue training courses to Australia and is the first Approved provider in the country.

Safe Work At Height (SWAH)
The Safe Work at Heights course provides the required skills and knowledge for anyone to work safely at height, It provides each participant with an insight into the hazards and risks that are present when working at height.

Co Worker Rescue (CWR)
The Co-Worker Rescue at Heights course teaches participants to deal with that situation. Using simple techniques and industry standard equipment, you will learn how you can free a colleague from a dangerous situation after they have dropped into their fall arrest system

Rope Access for Emergency Responders
The Rope Access for Emergency Responders course is aimed at members of technical rope rescue teams who want to become proficient in rope access techniques.This course provides emergency services personnel with the skills and knowledge required to operate safely in a rope access environment.

Tower Safety, climbing and Rescue
The course covers basic and specialised equipment, ropes and rigging, safety considerations, scene management and organisations, ascending and descending, belaying lowering and raising systems and litter management in a tower environment.

Rope Rescue Operator
The Rope Rescue Operator (RRO) course introduces the knowledge and skills required by personnel to operate safely and effectively during rope rescues and be an active part of a rope rescue team working under the supervision of Rope Rescue Technicians.

Rope rescue Technician
The Rope Rescue Technician (RRT) course covers concepts and techniques to enable small teams to undertake technical rope rescues. A building block approach is used throughout the course so that candidates can progress from key concepts through to the rigging and operaon of full systems for raising, lowering and highline rescues.
ACX Powered ASCENDER Training
Section20 has now become a training provider for Skylotec, specifically in the use of the ACX Powered Ascender. This device is revolutionising the industry and in order to implement its use safely, the manufacturer has stipulated this training to be mandatory.
The ACX battery-powered hoist is a motorised system that allows for the transport of persons or loads to areas that are difficult to access.
The ACX POWER ASCENDER allows for safe and effective access to what is considered difficult or time consuming. Allowing for increased efficiency of both access and rescue capabilities.

This course was developed to effectively train anyone who is required to work at height safely and ensure compliance with both the state Legislation, Codes of Practice and Australian standards. This program will enable students to understand and implement safe working at heights procedures and safety controls.

Participate in a Rescue Operation
This course was developed to meet the requirements of anyone who is required to work at height safely and meet the requirement of both the Australian standards and legislation. This program will enable students to not only understand and implement safe working at heights procedures, but also to perform a safe and effective rescue from heights and emergency care.

Non Accredited Rescue Training
This course has been developed to ensure any business or organization who implements a fall-arrest system as a measure to control risk, can ensure compliance by training their workers in safe and effective rescue procedures.
